Streaming audio and video DRM

NetIS Video and Audio Galleries will give you an idea as to how Audio and Video DRM can be deployed through NetIS.

Many people believe that if a streaming video is embedded into a web page, it can't be stolen. This is usually not the case. Depending on the software, the video might be stored in the computer's cache, and the path to the actual Audio or Video file can be extracted. All anyone that wants to abuse the content has to do, is locate through the extracted path the original file, or simply stream the embedded audio or video file and then pull it out of their cache.

By selecting Audio and Video to be part of a NetIS based application, content owners can define granular products based on consumption or time of the stream (e.g. hear only 30 seconds of a song track, or preview in a small window only 1 MB of a video clip), use streaming attributes as e-products that can be set, purchased or limited (e.g. allow or limit users to resize the stream screen, control the volume or pause), all part of the fast and easy-to-use e-commerce experience already included in NetIS DRM.
